Our October meeting will be here soon. Due to an emergency repair, we've had a change in location and host city - we'll now be meeting in Ellensburg. A virtual connection is also planned.
Happily, Ellensburg is along the travel route for many of us heading to the WAPRO conference. Regardless of your location; we hope you'll consider joining us for a terrific session to include the following topics:
- Records retention training featuring Megan McGregor (2-hour session)
- By-Laws Article 5- Section 1 (updating dues for 2026 and beyond)
- Minutes (from May 2025)
- Financial report
- Establishing 2026 scholarship funding levels
- President's Report
Beth plans to offer light refreshments and pastries.
If you're looking for a more hearty meal, she suggests Cornerstone Italian Kitchen for lunch. If you'd like, please take a peek at their menu and place an order for delivery to Ellensburg City Hall with a delivery time of 11:30 a.m. (the cost of lunch is on your own). Be sure to mention you're with the SCWMCA group so they call pull all of our orders together and deliver at once. Otherwise, feel free to bring a brown bag lunch from your favorite spot.

I want to extend a special thank you to Beth Leader, Ellensburg City Clerk, for stepping forward to act as host city on short notice. And we so much appreciate Stephanie Boorman and Katie Kapalo, for serving as our original hosts. I know they're looking forward to welcoming us in May, once the facility is once again up and running.
