The South Central Washington Municipal Clerks Associations (SCWMCA) was formed in 1997, with the objective to encourage cooperation and the exchange of information and knowledge between municipal, county and transit boards clerks; city treasurers; and finance officers, to provide a forum for their continuing education.  SCWMCA is a non-profit membership association.  

The boundaries include, but are not limited to, the counties of Kittitas, Grant, Adams, Yakima, Benton, Franklin, Walla Walla and Klickitat. Members consist of City Clerks, City Clerk/Treasurers, City Treasurers or Finance Officers, Transit Board Clerks and County Clerks of the Board and their Deputies or Assistants.
